I live there for over two years. So I have a good perspective on what life is like at Gentian Oaks. Overall I think it rates slightly above average. The units are manufactured buildings and like another poster said the walls are thin. The rent is high but its kinda hidden and in a pretty decent negihborhood. Its located walking distance to CSU, the mall and the post office. (if you had no choice). The Managers Chuck and Gina are very helpful but they wont tell you about the fact that there are hidden monthly rental charges (Water and Sewer). Nothing free here but air. The only issues here I would say is if you decide to rent here... check your neighbors to the right and left of you. Theres no grace period on the rent. Not even ONE DAY, so be aware of that. Also comming out of the complex there is a blind spot so watch for speeding cars becasue I almost got flatened. My car was broken into but I think it was an isolated event.
