I hate to break it to you all but I have to somewhat agree with the "Go AWAY" person. These apts. were built with the cheapest of materials. They have a mildew problem which I was told by a friend living there that the new lease states you are responsible for drying the dew off the windows to keep them from mildewing. That's total BS. The bathroom doors would mildew in one day if a damp towel was hung on it. I had to throw away 2 pairs of shoes and wipe off the rest becasue of the mildew in the closet. I had to wash a coat that was covered in mildew in the coat closet. I could go on and on about the mildew issue. The paint was starting to chip off of the kitchen cabinets about 6 months after moving in (and it was brand new). I made a comment about 1 month after I moved in that I would love to see these apts. in 5 years. I will definately go back and check it out.
I also agree that the staff when I first moved in was great but it went down hill. They had a lot of turn over.
And even though I agree it is apt. living, I can tell you right now that they could have made them better as far as sound goes. DO NOT move into a downstairs apt. It was pure HELL!
As for the military...I have no probelem at all with the military. I had a problem with the guys getting drunk at the pool using foul language. Even though they are military it is not a military thing it is a lack of class thing. They rent the apts. to some low class folks but again people can look great when they want something and once they are in the TRASH can come out so that is really not the managements fault but not doing something about folks getting drunk and cussing is their problem and then it becomes our problem too.
I never had a problem with kids running around so I must disagree on that one. It is a large complex with a lot of kids so my advice is to be careful.
And if I mis-spelled anything, don't be a jerk and point it out. This a lot of typing and we can only hope to be perfect like you!!!
