We were pretty pleased overall. I don't know what people expect out of an apartment. Unless you live in a retirement community, you can count on teenagers and their friends hanging around. Kids are going to run around and dogs are going to crap outside because thats what kids and dogs do. As for safety and theft, my car was never broken into, nor was anyones who lived near me in almost three years. My wife walked at night, and women from nearby neighborhoods walk here because it is safe and well-lit. Some people see a couple of black kids walking around and assume that they are up to no good and like to say that the entire complex is unsafe. The apartment was big and the windows were huge. All our appliances always worked. We got almost all of our deposit back (minus some for carpet cleaning). The only drawback is non residents using the pool and basketball court. One pet-peeve I had was that while there is a dog weight limit at the apartment, as well as dog crap recepticles outside, the surrounding neighboorhood folk like to bring their gigantic beasts over to let them drop enourmous loads all over the grass at the entrance to the apartments. Check the area at the entrance to Phase 2 and you'll see what I mean.
