Although the Johnston Mill Lofts is a nice place, they could have put more money into the builders. There are drafts everywhere...my electric bill for a 1 bedroom/1 bath last month was $180. When it rains, get the tupperware ready. You'll have them spread out all over the place. Oh and pest control' They say it's included but now you have to request it and they put some gel under the kitchen sink. That's it. The walls are paper thin and you hear everything your neighbors are doing. And I do mean EVERYTHING. Overall it's a good place to live but you'll be disappointed after you pay your rent month to month.

im also a resident at that lofts and have been for 2 years now in a 1bed 1 bath unit i dont have a ny pests never even requested the service nothing leaks and my power bill at its highest has been $72.45 i love the lofts and think that its one of the best places to live in columbus, believe me ive moved around a lot before i settled here. im not moving out till its time to buy a house. sorry you had such a bad experience.

For the Marker prices of the apartments one would think that the apartments would have better pest control, thicker walls, and better up keep. How can the apartment owners feel good about charging such a large amount of rent for a place that is poorly put together?

I lived at the Mills for a year now- and I am exicited to be moving. If it wasnt the leaky sink that took two months to fix, the air conditioner that didnt work all summer and it took them three months to fix that, or the numerous holes in the brick wall where ants crawl in dailey, or the wall that is falling and its been two months that I have reported that. Shame on this manger for allowing the dog poop to liter the walkways, or the gym with half the equipment broken or badly used. Let us not mention the paper thin wall, not neccessarily in the apartment, but separting the apartments themselves. The price for these homes have not made up for the lack of security, or trash service, or even the office staying open a little later so that people can get their packages. But believe me- you will get a nasty notice on your door if you paid a extra dollar on your rent, and they dont tell you until after the 5th- so then its another 70 dollars in late fees. I do mean that I paid a extra dollar- that cost me 70 dollars in all. I recommend that you find another place to live......
