I have read most of the previous comments that were left about Johnston Mill and I do agree that there are some problems, but most of them have been addressed. When I first came to the apartments- I was told that the buildings were over 100 years old and that were bound to be occassional problems due to the age. The one person who complained about no doors and no carpet- didn't you know that before you leased. As far as the trash, poop and gates. If everyone would appreciate and take care of the place that they live there would be no problems. People do not clean up after their pets and management has sent out letters to us. If tenants and their guests did not try to run the gate- the gates would work. I do think that the office staff should crack down harder on the people who do not care- if they know who is doing it. Any problems that I have had have been handled pretty quick and everyone has been very nice except the trash guy. Overall I love loft living and are happy that I moved here.
