Don't move in if you ever want to use the pool

Every week management comes up with a new reason to close the pool. Today it is because they are replacing the furniture. The old furniture is still there and there is nothing wrong with the pool but as usual we aren't allowed to go in.
Last week it was because the pool gate was broken. The pool gate has been broken since the pool was "opened" in May but it didn't seem to bother anyone except the people who couldn't get out by pushing the button to open it.
The fire alarms go off so often that we don't pay much attention to them anymore, and when you call security you get their voice mail and no reply to your message. They never seem to be around when someone down the hall turns their stereo up so loud that your walls vibrate and you can't hear the television you are sitting in front of.
Management is very friendly until all of the papers have been signed, then the mood changes. We are constantly bombarded with threatening notices hung all over the buildings and encouraged to spy on our neighbors and report them (kind of like ---- Germany).
I really like the layout of my loft and my neighbors in the building I live in are a good bunch of people, but the lack of security and the fact that I'm paying for a pool and hardly ever have access to it make me think I'll probably be looking for a better run community when my lease gets closer to renewal.
Unfortunately most of the comments in the first review are absolutely true.
