I have been in the lakes for 2 years now. It started off great. The neighbors are great. The inside of the apartments are very spacious. The staff that I have encountered have been a hit and miss, some are friendly and some just don't care.

The maintenance at the Lakes is the worst. I have had a maintenance issue for almost a year now, which has not been fixed yet. I will be moving once my lease is up.

I have witnessed two men trying to break into someone's car on my way to work around 5am. I reported it, but it did not seem like a big deal to them.

I cleaned my carpet a few months ago, and a week later, I saw a big dirt spot on my floor. Whoever did it moved my coffee table over it, hoping that I would not find it. The problem was that there was no note on my door stating that maintenance had been there. If they were there they did not fix the problem. Whoever was in my apartment had access to my alarm code because I always set my alarm. They are also aware that I am not home often, so they are probably sitting in my house watching my TV.

The Lakes is not a safe place for someone to bring their family to live. I suggest you move out a little further. Even Whisperwoods was not this bad.
