My wife and I lived there from 2000 to 2005 in a 2 bedroom townhouse.

On the plus side: cable is included in rent, we had a washer and drier in our unit.

On the minus side: well, where do I begin' When we first moved in, the manager was the nicest old lady living with her husband in one of the townhouses. She retired and moved away in around 2002, and then everything went downhill. The managers started changing every year, with each new one caring even less than the previous one. We had a new maintenance guy every 3 months and it was uncommon to smell alcohol from some of them. The residents use to tell stories about the notorious maintenance guy who was called "BK", who mad most problems only worse. The bas neighborhood slowly crept in on the location of Peacock Woods and soon we started seeing more and more unfriendly faces around. Some kids from the worse part of town would come to the pool, which was clearly marked "for residents only" and the manager would do nothing about that. Then our apartment was broken into and it took the management about a week to fixed the broken door jamb. The management just couldn't care less about us or the police investigation.
