If you have children who like to ride their scooters, bikes, and skate outside DO NOT MOVE TO SPRING COVE APARTMENTS OR ANY OTHER APARTMENTS OWNED BY TRACE PROPERTIES!!!! I have lived in Spring Cove Apartments for 5 years. When I first moved here, this place felt like home. The management and staff were very nice and friendly. If anything in the apartments needed repairs, it was done if not the very same day it was done the next day. Carren is the manager and Book Hamilton is the assistant manager.Carren lacks people skills and does not speak kindley to people who call to complain about something in need of repair in their apartment. If you ask her when something is going to be fixed in your apartment, she speaks in a tone like you are inconveniencing her with too many questions. He responce will always be "I don't know. When ever Danny can get to it". If you have a problem with her or you want to speak to someone over her head, good luck in trying because she will not give you that information. When you do call to report something that needs to be fixed, many times a week and sometimes more has gone by before it's even fixed... after of course when you have to call again to find out when the problem is going to be fixed. It's not the fault of Danny the maintenance man. He does maintenance repairs for 3 or 4 other properties owned by Trace Properties and he has no help. The only thing the children are allowed to do in any Trace Properties apartments is go to the pool. When I first moved here, there use to be a small playground. It was torn down and a new one was never built. Children are not allowed to play outside without adult supervission... regardless of the age. Still, even with adult supervission, they are not allowed to ride bikes, skates, or scooters outside. They can't even be seen on the porch. If you are looking for a place to call home, Trace Properties is not it. I have never lived in a place where children were not allowed to ride a bike or skate outside at a place that is suppose to be their home.
