A great starter place in Columbus

I spent my second and third year of college at the Lodge, after wanting to live somewhere that was not near Columbus State University campus. The drive to the campus was only 7 minutes.
As far as the apartment community, the management staff was very polite and cordial. The maintenance staff sometimes peturbed me, but was mostly prompt with service requests. I never once had a roach in my apartment the whole 2 years I lived there (the apartment did their pest control monthly).
The complex was well lighted at night, but parking could sometimes be a problem, especially on the weekends.
As far as noise, the cars driving by blasting music was sometimes a problem, as well as tv/music from other apartments, but it was as expected for an apartment. To me the Lodge was a big step up from the dorms.
