Depressing at times but not Whisperwood?s fault

Years at this apartment: 1996 - 1997
The year that I lived there, there was a murder-suicide in the complex in Phase 4 (a soldier shot and killed his wife then turned the gun on himself) and then even another suicide over in Phase 3 a few months later. I was so depressed living there because of these events. Everyone is right about that gate being a joke. That thing shattered in two when I accidentally hit it with a golf cart I was driving (I worked in the office too). I will not say much about working there but I will say I didn?t stick around for long.
But through all this, I liked living there OK. The apartment was a little dark though with just one window in the living room and a sunroom off to the side that did not allow a lot of light. Sometimes we did have ants in the kitchen pantry. We were military and that was our 3rd apt. complex that we had lived in and at the time was the best apt. complex in town. We moved right before they opened the section, the Enclave. But more than anything, we hated Columbus!! It totally sucked living there! We got out of the military and quickly moved to Dallas.
