I think for the size of the complex, the problems at Whisperwood could be a lot worse than they are. Having noted that, it's a complex many people say is "going downhill" compared to whatever it used to be. I've only be in the area a little over a year, so I can't address that. However, I can attest to the fact that the gates were open literally THE ENTIRE YEAR up until last week (with the except of maybe two or three days last February when I noticed they were closed when I went home for lunch and then back open again by nightfall). They have been working for the last week, but if you happen to be coming home and realize you've forgotten your gate card, don't worry! Someone will have run through and broken the flimsy wooden board off by the time you get home. I signed a lease renewal three months ago and am STILL waiting for my copy of it, along with my "new resident ID". When I called to follow up about a month ago, I was told that the woman who does renewals is extremely busy and I would need to stop by the office. If the office opens after I get to work and closes before I get home, I'm not quite sure how that's going to work out. But since I don't use the amenities anyway, I guess I won't be needing my new resident ID card... Only other thing is the massive amount of dog crap you may notice when you go for a run around the "beautiful landscaping." That is probably just one of the things that comes with allowing large pets, but it would be nice if management would take care of it a little better. At the end of my second term, I will not be renewing, but I do realize it could be worse.

After the reviews that I am reading, I could not agree more. This place is a total dump, and when you tell them about it they will pretend that they are so sorry and they will get it fixed asap. I can tell you I had to move from one apartment to another in whisperwood because the other one was in such bad shape and they would never show up to fix it. I complained since day one that I lived there that it was in bad shape. the carpet kept coming up and was as worn as carpet could get and they had the nerve to charge me a eighty five dollar carpet cleaning fee for an apartment that they were going to tear up and replace the carpet any way. Please look around at other apartments before you go with whisperwood, because although they look good from the outside, there are a lot of hidden problems
