The staff is very nice and I like that they will recognize me and talk to me if they pass me. I like my apartment... it's nice and roomy and in a good location for me. I have two main problems with Whisperwood: ants and maintenance. To me it seems like my apartment and the areas around it never get sprayed for bugs... I have a huge ant problem. I constantly find ants in my bath tub and around my windows. Also, I have had parts of my apartment broken since I moved in (including a missing smoke alarm!) and I called repeatedly when I first moved in 4 months ago and nobody ever fixed anything. Well, let me correct myself... someone did come into my apartment while I was gone one day and changed the blinds on one of my windows. Problem with this is that the blinds were never broken to begin with and I definitely never told them that those blinds had anything wrong with them. BuLYzGcKAVo8MQPlcXJq

I completely understand. We had the same problem with our light fixtures as well. We kept telling them that the light would flicker and what did they do, they kept on replacing the bulbs. We told them it was an internal issue and all they knew how to do was change the light bulbs. It only took them 1 1/2 years to finally figure out it was the wiring. Ants are also an issue for me. We had to tape up all of the outlets to get rid of them. They were coming in our outlets. They never spray the apartment, yet we get charged a monthly fee for them to spray. Same thing with the filter. The only time that ever gets changed is if you call and complain a few times. Since we have lived here in the two years, it has only been replaced once. You are better off just buying your own filter or going to maintenance asking for one and putting it in yourself. The paint really sucks on the walls because if you accidently touch it, marks go on the walls. Why they do not use semi-gloss paint, I have no idea. I wish I would have went on this thing before we moved in in 2006. The only reason we have stayed here this long is because it would cost us too much to move out and find some place else. We will have to move out soon and they already quoted us that it will cost us $1,000.00 for repairs (Carpeting) even though the stains appeared just after we signed the lease and stated that everything was great. Boy were we fooled!
