Whisperwood

 

Ok, so I have heard some good reviews about this place and the only thing I can think of is that the apartments are indeed very nice and so are the office management people.

But don't be fooled.

They are very nice once you move in, then it all goes downhill from there.

They tell you in the beginning that you cannot see your apartment until you move in.

Once you get to your apartment you get to see what you will be living into.

Security is a joke.

It is considered to be a gated community, but the gate is always constantly broken.

Along with your vehicles.

My husband and I are military and we have lived here for two years.

In the beginning it was like a paradise.

But once you start having maintenance issues, it changes.

I have called 15 times about squirrel problems and they just told me that we had to live with them just like the rest.

There are always ants, cockroaches coming into our apartment and they rarely ever spray.

They only spray if you are at home.

Otherwise, they spray the living room and boom they are finished.

They also charge you for these services every month, which does not get done.

Carpeting sucks.

They told us we were going to get new carpeting before we moved in, still hasn't happened.

About a week after we moved in, stains started appearing on the floors and now we are responsible for the stains.

We asked them to clean out the fireplace and they told us that there were no squirrels in there.

If you are military, do not move here unless you plan on not having any problems.

Our neighbors had issues and three tenants lived in the apartment during our two years and the issues still were not taken care of.

They clean the grounds starting at 8:00 a.m.

M-F and if you like to sleep in, you can forget it.

The walls are also very thin and if there are people below you and they slam the doors, the living room shakes as well.

The pools are very popular in the summer.

Parties are thrown and people make noise until about 5a.m.

and security does not do a thing.

People skinny dip and undress under the stairway so make sure your kids have their eyes closed going up to their apartment.

The areas smell like dog crap especially in the rain and be very careful where you walk, no one cleans up after their pets.

Maybe it is because there are no dog clean up bags like we were originally told.

Anyway, don't read the reviews about how good of a place this is because the only good reviews about this place are probably from the people that work in the office and they are just trying to ensure that they have jobs.

Seriously, if you military know what is good for you, you will stay very far away from "Whisper-Hood"! And if you plan on staying here, make sure your doors are locked because there are break-ins around 12:30 p.m.

People try coming into your apartment just by turning the knob.

Make sure you get a hotel lock.

One more thing, people are very nice, until you start complaining and once you turn your notice in, they try to get you out sooner and they come into your place at any time.

Maintenance also comes in at any time and knocks once and just comes on in.

Gotta love this place!

If you don't recommend it and have all these complaints, why have you lived there for 2 years?

We had all of these same problems. We only stayed for 5 months.

I agree! And the only reason why military can't move out is because even if you give a notice in advance they will not let you or they will charge you a nd extra month even if you moved out already..This place is not family friendly. Is funny that the only people that have good reviews are the ones that work at whisperwood but guess what They don't live here! because they know what a nighmare it is to live in this --------!
