I love everything about Whisperwood except the maintenance dept.

They need a lot more people working there.

I honestly believe that Whisperwood's competition is writing all of these bad reviews.

If that one review posted that they so called heard the property manager to tell the employees to write good things...if I recall correctly-that was posted anonymously.

Something weird is going on here.

My apartment is VERY clean, I admit...I have a screened in outside porch and I'll see a roach on my porch but I expected that...Whisperwood is a wooded community...not just a bunch of apartments slapped on top of concrete with parking spots around it.

I love all of the pools, tennis courts, grills, lakes, volleyball court, dog park, activities for us and the staff.

Look at it this way- there is NO other apartment complex in Columbus with all of the activities they do for us, 6 pools 1 of them being the beautiful waterfall pool-which does stay too cold, 6 tennis courts with a pro that gives free lessons, aerobics, pilates, that self defense class (I forgot what it's called) a HUGE gym that is seperated from the cardio side, sauna, steam room, tanning beds, 5 lakes that I fish in, and a putting green.

ALL of that included in my rent...I DON'T PAY A DIME FOR ANY OF THE ABOVE MENTIONED.

So, with that being said...other apartments can't even come close to the amenities, however some of the competition does have granite countertops, which I don't...but I'm a man...I don't care too much for the granite.

Let's add this all up...NO OTHER apartment complex has all of this...so what would they do' I believe they get their employees to post all of these bad comments, why do I believe this' Well, because I believe that another apartment complex wrote what they supposedly heard the office manager say to her employees.

I think it's the other way around.

I think that if you are actually a resident then you should have to provide a secret password that only a resident would know.

I'd tell the office to watch out...it looks like jealousy has gotten to the competition....but hey, take the granite counter tops out and use the money to have more amenities.

My apartment is nice.

I love it.

This is definately a response from somebody within the managment. For someone that knows everything about the place and can list it all is pretty amazing. I Lived there for a year, and rode my bike and walked all of the time, but I did not know that half of that stuff existed there. The managment does know that they have maintance issues, and that is part of the problem. I really think that this place needs some new managment.

I lived in Whisperwood about 6 years ago and it was horrible....granted, as you said in your review, theres ALOT of things that are included in the rent, but you didnt include the massive amount of those big roaches, you didnt include the horrible maintence people who took forever to fix the problems, and a leasing staff who will try to do what they can AFTER you leave to get more money out of you..these things to me, are more important than having a "cool waterfall pool" whoop-dee-doo.....yes, its a wooded area but theres also a thing called Pest Control....which obviously we never had anyone come do our apartment (even though I called numerous times to have them come take care of their bug problem--its pretty sad when i even had the big roaches in my ceiling light, that i could hear flapping around)--all in all Whisperwood to me is one of the most horrible apt complexes to live in....yes you get many things included in rent, but you also get many problems along with it..not worth the money spent..ive lived in 3 apartment complexes total...and by far, this had to be the worst. If anyone reads this, looking to find an apt in columbus to live at, go to GREYSTONE!! We lived there for almost 2 yrs and they didnt have the extra stuff like the "cool waterfall pool" but you always got treated like a member of the family by the leasing staff and if there was ever a maintenace issue, the gentlemen in the maintanence dept would do anything they could as quick as lightening....there was never a "wait" because they obviously run their apt complex better to where things dont always HAVE to be fixed ALL the time--as seems the problem at Whisperwood. I hated, can i repeat HATED living at Whisperwood--spend your rent money elsewhere, espeically those in the military...dont put your family in a place like this...its a complex more for singles...who care more for partying and who dont care about a safe and inhabitable environment...I ended up breaking my lease, it was ridiculous.....

I'm not an employee of any apartment complex and whisperwood was the worst apartment I have ever lived in. Ya, the grounds are nice but you have to live in an old, rundown apartment to have that. I'd rather enjoy the area where I spend the most time...my house. Nice theory though.

I am not an employee either. I agree with Justinhood1 in that this is obviously someone with Whisperwood writing this. I currently live in whipserwood jelder48 and they are rundown. I am about to leave and move into Greystone, and look forward to leaving this place. Also, staff member Tim is one that you should avoid. Just trust me on that.

I really think that we should keep in consideration that whisperwood is a HUGE complex. I would be willing to bet they have over 1000 apartments. When you have that big of a complex maintenance requests can't get fixed at lightening speed. I think that the main problem here would be the maintenance dept...they need a lot more people to work there for this big of a complex. But, I do like it here and I'm not an employee either but my leasing agent, I think her name was Jennifer told me all of the extra amenities so I guess I was better informed when moving in. I haven't lived here long, only about 6 months but my rent is fine and I haven[t had a problem...EXCEPT for the person that lives above me. SHE IS LOUD, I just haven't felt like reporting it.
