Whisperwood is the first apartment complex that i rent by myself. Atfirst i heard a lot of great things about, and i loved the grounds. So i decided i would love to live here. First i decided to live in a two bedroom based off the model, it was gorgeous. So then i came back later to see my apartment, OMG was it terrible, i told him no and we switched apartments, this one was better. Every night underneith me in that apartment i heard the Army guy having Long, Loud, Skin slapping sex. It was so digusting. among various other reasons, i decided to transfer apartments. Now i live in a gorgeous upgraded onebedroom. I love my apartment but it has spiders sometimes, and occasionally a roach. Parking sucks!!!! I hate it. I have to park atleast 3 or 4 buildings over and walk back at night to my apartment. THere are atleast 5 cars outside right now that have not been moved in 3 weeks, and they are all parked directly in front of my building, also my garbage disposal sucks!! it sounds like its chopping knives. I have to pya for water, sewer and pest control who i haven't seen in 6 months. THey make you pay for everything and then when you want to live you have to pay for 50 thousand other things and they bill you like crazy. Not to mention The army guys who have tried to kill themselves and the shootings here now. The gates use to always be open but since the recent shootings the back gate closes at 10 p.m. and you have to go to the front where you have to give your name apartment, and if you a guest, your license tag info and your business. So if something happens, i assume,they have a ready made list for the police. I seriously regret my decision to live here. The office sucks, the ladies there are VERY CATTY, and snobbish and stuck up and Leslie is the Ultimate -----, with a horrible attitude. Tim is okay though, not a problem with him at all. and they try to evict you all the time. I am currenlty looking for another apartment, i am def. going to break my lease and while looking all the other apartments staff have an on running joking calling whisperwood-whisperHOOD. I am def. going to move to one of the greystone properties, they're gorgeous and the best thing going in columbus, Please do not come to whisperwood the staff sucks and while looking back at it they were very pleasant when i decided to move in, and then suddenly things sucked. We should def. have a community get to together and voice these opinions to MID-America Management. Not to mention, also that i came home oneday to my door being unlocked and i walked in searching my house and found a big DUMB in my toilette left by management, i complained and they actually insulted me by asking if i was sure that i did not do it. Then they told me it would be 40 dollars to change my locks. And everyday i hear these two big monster puppies up above me playing constantly and rolling around.
