I have lived here 3 years, seen management and entire staff come & go several times, the gates never work, and the things I have witnesed over the last few months make me wish I could move today. I do not feel safe in my own home or to go out to my car at night. I am a single mother with 2 small children. I have a very stable and reputable job and I am actually embarrassed for any of my co-workers to ever come over. Nights and weekends seem to be the worst. I feel like the management company and management themselves have let the tenants down. I do not feel like anything I was told about this complex (the things that actually made me move here in the first place) were true. I have ties to the legal court system in Newton County and I am currently having my current and prior years' lease looked over by an attorney. Also, the management company has no scuples. I was charged for water service before my new lease even began. I was told it was the management company's decision to backdate this even though I was not liable for that bill. This is not a community you want to have children in and even be able to feel safe in your own apartment. Newton County Sheriff's Dept knows all too well what is going on in this complex. I do not advise anyone to move here, but if you have to, keep your car doors locked and keep your patio light on at night. I would stongly suggest that you have comprehensive coverage on your car as we have had cars set on fire and vandalized in other ways.
