My lease is up @ the end of next month, and I am really happy about it. I've been @ Arbor Lake for 3 years, and it gets worse and worse. The current management staff is A JOKE!! 4 times, in less than a week they were working on the pipes or something I guess and the water was shut off with NO WARNING!! When I called in to the leasing office to see what the issue was, I was told that it was an "emergency", which was a big lie, b/c they had come out and marked the grounds with orange spray paint like a week before! It really made me mad. They do look very nice from the outside, and they aren't bad on the inside, but there are no amenities, the management is hopeless, there are always a bunch of kids running in the street and around the complex, the lake itself looks like a swamp w/ garbage all in and around it, there are groups of thuggish guys hanging around, in and out of the breezeways, and obvious illegal activity going on day and night. In my building alone (12 units) I've seen 23 tenants come and go in the 3 years I've been there! People move in, and right back out. I've never seen anything like it. When I turned in my 60 day notice, she had the nerve to call me and ask me why I'm leaving. I had to bite my tongue, anyway it would've taken all day if I'd even attempted to give my reasons for moving out. She tried to get me to stay by offering a "deal" that I can get almost any place else, with better amenities, customer service, and less drama! There is no logical reason to move into Arbor Lake at this point, their prices are the same as everyone elses and they can't even half way compete with what the other aparment communities have to offer. If you do it you may very well regret it. Trust me.
