Ive lived here the last 8 months now, I work for a major airline, and was almost layed off. When I asked the apt managers if I could be released from my lease, they gave me the run around stating that I would have to pay another two months rent, lose my depositys (almost a thousand dollars in deposits) and then I could leave. Total bill would have been around 3000$ for me to leave. I live in a small, singe bedroom apt. Apartment was in decent shape, but there was not any maintenence done that I requested, I had to fix everything myself. The doors from the bedroom to the bathroom had to be re-adjusted in order for them to latch, I was told that there were no previous tenants in my apartment, yet found long hairs (im male with very short hair) in my bathtub. The bedroom wall looks like someone put a hole through it and it was patched, the bathroom walls are peeling, the carpet sucks and has stains that mysteriously appear. Management is very friendly but not very helpful. They love to take your money though. I pay $680 a month for this apartment. Also, I suspect that the wiring for the apartment has been crossed with another apartments because my electrical bill never falls below $50 a month regardless to the fact that I almost never have the heating or air conditioning on. The city of covington charges a minimum of $25 dollars a month FOR WATER!!!!
If you rent, rent at your own risk. Oh yeah, the laundromat was torn apart by thieves, around christmas, still has NOT BEEN REPAIRED!!! Drive into the 'hood inorder to find good washer and dryer. Also linoleum peeling up in the supposed laundry room, which backs up to the refridgerator.

this was before the new management took over. I have been living here for 4 years. And it was not like that. Bt its been a nice . quiet, safe, clean and very well upkept since all hands changed. sometimes people that run the property and changes have to be made. its not the properties fault. its still a great place and I have referrd 5 people here to live and they still live here to. so maybe you would like to try it out now . I would love to have a new neighbor.
