My family and I lived at Oxford Summit for 10 months. My family consists of my husband, myself and small son. Upon leaving this complex, we received a bill of $1500 dollars for early termination fees and replacing the carpet. We were shocked to see this bill arrive in the mail. The manager told us she would send pics to show carpet damage. We have not seen them yet. Before leaving, we tried several times to discuss a walk-through and the manager was unavailable on each visit. We believe because of the down swing in business, this complex is taking advantage of its departing residents by charging for upkeep repairs they should cover in the cost of renting apartments. My advice to families is that I would not recommend this place to live. We saw adolescents roaming without supervision, the police being called on several occassions for domestic violence, and unruly behavior at the pool. If you choose to live in this complex, do not live near the pool in summer time. On weekends, the pool is a singles hangout. The partys go on late into the night. One night, my family and I went to the pool around 7:00 pm and witnessed a young woman in a bikini being cheered on to drink a beer through a funnel by at least 6 males surrounding her. Something you think of seeing in Cancun not Oxford Summit. We had to leave with our son because we didnt want him to be around this behavior at the shared pool area. When we signed our lease, we singed several pages of rules governing the residents behavior. Upon living there we saw many violations of these rules, like keg parties and pets not under control. Yet, we lived there quietly and responsibly and we are left with a bill to show our compliant behavior.
