Apartments OK, but the neighbors were...

Years at this apartment: 1994 - 1997
(sigh) We had to move because of the neighbors. In our 3 years there, we had a brush fire behind our apartment (started by kids who lived there), a teenager exposing himself to the little kids, a drunk grandma who tried repeatedly to get my husband to bed her...oh, and the unit up the hill burned down because a mom fell asleep with a lit cigarette (or so I heard) and burned down most of a building. It was time to go, go, go.
On the other hand, a coworker today lives there and says management has changed and he is very happy there.
In our experience, the place was fine, more than fine. Nothing fancy, but clean. We didn't feel safe because of the neighbors.
