I have lived in Magnolia Crest for the past 4 to 5 years, and I have seen many changes.

When I came to Magnolia Crest, I was looking for somewhere that was safe for my children and me. I like that one of the criteria was that they conducted police background checks on all new tenants and renewed leases to ensure that there were not any objectionable occupants in the apartment next to you. All though I found this strange, it made me feel safe after it was explained.

I have noticed the frequent changes in management over the years and the environment seems to get a bit worse with every management change. In addition, the front gates have been non-functioning more times than working.

I am the type of person that takes pride in my possessions. I have tried to keep up with the maintenance of my apartment, and each time that I renew my lease, I have asked to get paint so that I may touch-up the walls and have never received it.

The maintenance team has spent an obscene amount time (every other month) in my apartment changing the air filter, but never checks anything else. They try to keep up the landscape, but they only maintain the fronts of the buildings and not the backs.

1. Is it clean: Yes, depending on how you take care of your apartment.
2. Are the kids that live their out of control: Sometimes
3. Is management good to you: In most ways but they can used some people skills.
4. Do I feel safe: For the most part. But if you have children, Dallas Elementary will make the stay better.
