Found this complex when we were looking for affordable, safe, well maintained housing after high school and until we were able to find a home. Our first impression was that we loved that it was a gated, a fairly small complex and centrally located in our community. Very soon we saw that the "gate" was not the safety feature we thought it would be. If the gate was not broke, many people knew how to ride the bumper of the car in front of them to get in. Shortly after we moved in there was an alert posted about a strange car and unknown man cruising through the complex and to be aware for their safety as well as their children. So gates dont keep you totally safe. Since we moved in the conditions of the "look" of the complex have gone down. Where the complex started out being a fairly quiet place to live that too has changed. My husbands car was broken into and of course nothing was done about that. Again, the "officer" at the complex was of no help, we have NEVER even seen him/her. We have had to call the police more than a couple of times due to early morning distubances because calls to the "courtesy officer" were NEVER answered. Rent is increasing yet again, we are now having to pay water (it was included when we moved in) as well as a "trash fee". It is now just as expensive for us to live in this complex than it was to attempt to locate a home of our own. Recently we qualified for a home, contacted the office and notified them that they would be moving. Because we couldnt give a 60 day notice they are charging us three months of rent to break the lease, as well as claiming they can keep our deposit. My husband tried calling and talking to the "management" and they were rude and made it very obvious that they had no concern what our opinion was of how they were handling the situation. I am totally disgusted with the "lack of" management that oversees this complex. I certainly will NOT recommend this location to anyone who is looking to move. From the looks of the posted ratings, I dont foresee many WANTING to live there anyway!
