I live in the first building, the tornado siren is right across the street. its tested every month. It goes off for severe thunder storms sometimes. I have never been this close to one before and it is LOUD!You have to go in the bath room and shut the door just to talk. The Hog House just moved across the street so you have people test driving motorcycles all day, fun.Almost everything in my apartment has broke! I've lived here for 2 years now and can't wait till the end of the month so I can get out. When we first moved in everyone was so nice. After living here for 3 months I came home from the hospital with my newborn child and guess what the heat doesn't work. I called maintenance came out, messed with it said the famous line here " ill have to order a part". We had to use our axillary heat so our bill was almost $200. I asked to be moved to another apartment because i had only be living here for a very short time. I was told i would have to pay the cancellation fee and pay another deposit!!!By the time they fixed it was over a month later so my newborn had to sleep with me and my husband to insure she would freeze. When summer came the air didn't work. It still freezes up in the middle of the night so I have to turn it off so by noon maybe ill have air. The curtsy officer loves to harass you. He came out promptly to help us with our new neighbors and their surround sound that rattled our glasses. But 5 months later I pulled in and the girl in front of me was frantically searching for her gate card and me having a remote I let her in. Curtsy officer pulls in the guest gate in his cop car waits for me to get out of my car and rudely ask me if I live here! I told him yes. He tells me not to every follow any one in the gate and tell him i have a remote and i didn't follow her in. He tells me to never let anyone in ( i start getting my daughter out of the car) they could me a child molester! The nerve of him! The gates here are almost always broken, the walk in gate is always wide open it has rust stains on the pavement to show how often its open. Right now my dishwasher is broken I've nicely asked for a month for them to fix it and i feel because I'm moving they are neglecting me. Within the last month the water stopped working for a whole night my shower bar randomly broke, and my daughters blinds also randomly broke and fell. Both exterior lights for my breeze way broke and me and a neighbor informed them and they have yet to fix light bulbs - what do they do all day! The pool is closed Mondays for maintenance yet on Tuesdays there are bugs all in it. The apartment space is awesome for the price but i would never wish this on anyone go pay an extra 100 and live peacefully.
