I moved into the Conservatory a year ago and I have been pleased with my experience here. For the price that I pay, my apartment (a 2BR, 2B) is very spacious - complete with a beautiful sunroom. Management is friendly and responsive - there is usually a 24-48 turnaround time and the maintenance guys are superfriendly. I live on the Brookside part of the apt which is the side with fewer apartments - I think it's quieter on this side. Also, I think the train that runs close to the apt is much much louder on the other side. However, the facilities (fitness center, pool, tennis courts) on the other side (just across the street) are much nicer and bigger. There is a pool, tennis courts, and fitness center on both sides.

I would recommend living in an apt. on the brookside part of the complex - fewer people, and quieter. I would also recommend an apt. on the 3rd floor (since the 2nd floor is not a true 2nd floor) - it's probably safer.

One of the things I love most about this complex is the beautiful landscaping - it's very green here - lots of trees - hidden from the road - so it's very quiet and serene.

The mgmt also hosts special events for the community - like fajita night - which is nice. The people who live here are friendly - we've made lots of friends with neighbors. A good number of young families.

We do see occasional roaches - but I think it's because we're in Georgia where the weather is hot and humid. If you keep a clean apartment, you shouldn't have a roach problem. I have never seen any rats.
