A few months ago I was coming home from a party in the early morning and there was a cop outside the building near mine. My husband asked him what was going on and all they said was they "had it under control". A few months later when we were picking up food from Golden Buddah down the street the guy at the counter recognized our address and told us about how one of his drivers was jumped and shot when attempting to make a delivery. We get notices once every few months saying things like "be aware of your surroundings" but I don't know how being aware of my surroundings is going to be helpful in not being shot. The gates are broken 45% of the time and half the reason I moved into this complex is for the safety the gates provide. I could have moved into the complex next door for half the price but it isn't gated. There was even a point when our combination gate doors to get in and out of the complex had no handles, much less a lock. Of course living in the city you have to be prepared to deal with safety issues, and it's not the leasing office's fault the gates are broken and it takes so long for the management company to cough up the money to fix it. I'm just warning anyone looking to move here not to let the false safety of the gates to fool you. Move into the complex next door, you'll pay less for the same amount of safety.

I live in this apartment community and nothing was said to us from management office till today. Thank you for your update. If management fails to update residence, I think it is appropriate to write a review about it here.
