I have really enjoyed living here. It seems like some of the postings below are from people who are generally angry. Yes, some of the office staff aren't all that helpful - but I've never had problems with them, they just don't want to be my BFF. Which is fine by me, because they're a management company and they do what they're supposed to do - handle my requests promptly and without complaint or foot dragging. If you want that BFF feeling, ask for John. He's a salesman & super, super nice.

In response to the postings about crime, the only break in I've heard about was from a college student who had, let's just say, some less-than-reputable friends. You are living in a city, so you can't go around with your doors unlocked, but I have no problem walking my dog at midnight and taking her outside when I get home from the bars - I've never seen anything or felt unsafe.

In fact, this is the only apartment I've ever lived in where I actually know my neighbors. I know almost everyone in my part of my building and know many other people from walking my dog. If I hung out more at the pool on weekends, I'd know even more people.

The kitchen and bath finishings are older and not the pretty granite you see advertised by all the new complexes in Atlanta. But the rental prices are cheaper, you don't have the drug dealers moving in like the new complexes do, and you have a ton of space. Combined with the convenience to the Perimeter and Decatur Square, I am not sure I will ever leave. And, in fact, many of their occupants don't - one of my neighbors has been here for almost a decade!
