I am currently a resident of Highland Estates, and I can't wait to get the hell outta here! I don't know if the peeps giving good reviews on Highland Pointe are either blind, deaf, or just smoking dope but those Apartments are from Hell, as well. As a matter a fact Highland Estates and Highland Point are right next door to one another, and they are both Miles properties. I have been here for almost a year and like most of my neighbors I got sucked in by the spacious floor plans. I have a 1 bedroom that is a little more than 900 sq ft. But the things that I have had to put up with!!! Just recently I had no hot water for 2 DAYS! My bathroom door has been installed improperly, and as a resuls it's BACKWARDS. There is a tear in my kitchen flooring that has been there since I moved in. Also, while a have a huge patio, I have never been able to enjoy it due the glass door being jammed since I moved in. I have had my electricity stolen and my apartment trashed by the complex's contractors!! A few months back half of my apartment was without electricity due to the wiring being more than 20 years old. I don't even have a GFI switch. And to top it all of we have a peeping tom!! IF you are thinking about moving here, PLEASE THINK AGAIN. THIS PLACE IS HELL!!

I am free from this nightmare. I lived with 2 years of Hell myself. I had leaks in the bathroom, my electrical had problems, we didn't have heat, there was drugs deals outside my dooor, shootings...the list goes on and on. I agree run ASAP and very far from this place

I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE IT HAS BEEN HELL FOR MY FAMILY AS WELL THE WAY PEOPLE JUST DUMP THERE TRASH WERE EVER THEY LIKE I HAVE HAD 3 NOTES PUT ON MY DOOR SAYING I HAVE PEOPLE HANGING OUT FRONT OF THE BUILDING I DONT KNOW WHO ARE WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT BECAUSE MY HUSBAND AND I WORK ALL DAY AND THEN I GO TO SCHOOL THE FIRST DAY AROUND THERE A YOUNG MAN GOT SHOT IN THE FOOT MY GRAND-DAUGHTER IS SCARED TO EVEN PLAY OUTSIDE DON'T GET ME STARTED ON THE ROACHES WE HAVE SPRAYED AND SPRAYED AND THEY ARE STILL THERE WE HAVE NO HOT WATER EITHER AND MY OVEN HASNT WORKED SINCE I MOVED IN PEOPLE BEWARE HIGHLAND POINTE IS A DUMP AND MANAGMENT WILL TRY THERE BEST TO SUCKER YOU IN RUN RUN RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN
