THESE ARE BY FAR THE WORST APARTMENTS IN AMERICA! MILES NEEDS TO BE SUED, MILDEW, VIOLENCE, MURDERS, MURDERS, AND OH DID I SAY MURDERS' THEY KICK IN YOUR DOOR AND ROB YOU AND THEY DON'T CARE. THEY DON'T CARE THAT YOU HAVE TEENAGERS HANGING IN THE WALKWAY, THAT YOUR TOILET IS BROKE, CEILING IS LEAKING, AND AN AWEFUL BUG PROBLEM OR THAT THEIR TENANTS PLACE THE TRASH OUTSIDE OF THE COMPACTER AND THEY(MANAGEMENT)LET IT SIT THERE FOREVER. APARTMENTS ARE BOARDED IT UP. THIS PLACE IS IN FORECLOSURE AND IS SET TO AUCTION SOON (1ST WEEK OF SEPTEMBER) BUT PLEASE PAY YOUR RENT ON TIME OR THEY WILL CALL YOU RELIGIOUSLY AND LEAVE "URGENT VOICE MAILS" WHEN YOU READ THE NAME MILES PROPERTIES INC. RUNNNNN FORREST RUNNNN!

I have tried to warn ppl about this property. My apt. was robbed two weeks before Thanksgiving '08. I was @ work and my kids were @ school. My son came home to find my door opened, and everything I owned GONE. Detectives found no signs of forced entry, and when question, management was not able to provide me with the whereabouts of my key. Hmmmmmmm. They didn't care that someone walked into my apt and stole my belongings. All they wanted to know was when was I going to pay my rent??? Oh, since it was on the 10th and I was late, I had my own apt. robbed in order to get out of paying rent ... Well, I paid the rent to the court and requested a transfer. Never heard from Miles Properties until the court date ... Oh, got a letter from their attorney stating they would let me out of the lease if I moved by the end of the month. Their "business manager" stood before the judge and made it seem like my son "could have" had something to do with the robbery. Judge gave me 7 days to move, which was a blessing in disguise because I found a place in a much better neighborhood and can now sleep @ night. But then in May/June, I start getting calls from a collection agency telling me that I owe Miles Properties money??? OH MY GOD!!! It wasn't until I read the chick and informed her of the judgement entered and how that judgement was covered by the monies deposited with the court, that the phone calls stop. She told me she would speak to Miles and get back to me. I haven't heard from her since, especially since I mentioned the security deposit I never got back and now wanted. I've sent letters to their attorney and to Highland Point. The letters from HP have been returned unclaimed. But it's all good, cause as I said in court on 12/8/2008 ... It ain't ova cause God don't like ugly and what comes around goes around ... Miles Properties will get theirs!!!

it's truly sad, but then they don't tell anyone about what's going on....still allowing ppl to move in etc. saying that it's all "public information and we're not obligated to tell them" they are SCAMMINGGGG...and i'm trying my best to expose them...but wait that's not it...i had someone call them after i did to ask them the same questions i did and they said.."foreclosure? we don't know anything about a foreclosure" they are a lie...but check this out...go out and purchase a "Champion Newspaper" and go to the "Commercial Properties" area and count the MULTIPLE MILES PROPERTIES IN FORECLOSURE...The Champion Newspaper can be bought at Kroger for $0.50 with tax the total will be $0.54 it is truly sad...but the newspaper comes out daily and they only get 5 per day, it's ALL THE FORECLOSURES IN DEKALB COUNTY...but they are getting what they deserve...it's only one female in that office that has some sense...and she's pretty nice...she's so respectful..her name is kinda hard to pronounce, but too bad she can't pull the weight of the company, and that lease office on her own...she was honest with me, and told me all she knows bless her heart, but those other ppl SMH...and Kathy Jacobs the assistant property manager...she's going to get hers right along with Daniel Miles...anywho...i've been seeking legal advice, and I know more than they think I know, but in due time...what's done in the dark shall come to light...

I curently live in highland point and i'm going through the same thing right now, but I need help can someone help me? I refused to pay my rent this month once I found out they were in foreclosure. I'm trying to get proof to show the judge that they were in foreclosure, because they looked at me and tried to make me feel like I was insane or crazy...In need of help please help me...
