I rented the basesment arpartment for a 1 yr lease. Every time that it rained the hallways in front of the entrance doors flooded so bad that when i came from work, i was forced to roll up my slacks or they would be wet. Each time calling maintenance to fix the problem, they would come down and vaccume the water up. Never fixing the problem. After the hall flooded so many times it started to grow mildew which got into our apartment, mildewed everywhere. THe maintenance again, come an steam clean the carpet (mildew still under the carpet) PATCHING The problem. Later we transfered to a different appartment in fear of getting sick from all the mold an mildew. In the new apartment every time it rains, there was a knocking noise in the walls (really loud) later i found that the building had a gutter problem and the gutter was knocking everytime it rained. Aftrer much calling the office finally fixed the gutter. NEXT i come home from work one day and the ceiling is leaking water. SO much that we are foced to use buckers to hold the water. Called maintenance they say that they will wait til it stops raining. 5 days later they send a guy who half fixdes the ceiling leaving drywall dust everywhere. Took 3 days to clean up all the mess. Later we find out that our TV that was in the living room doesnt work anymore. the tv repair says that its due to water getting in the tv.
Had them to write a letter and maintenance says that they are not liable. I dont know who is if they arent'
Also they offer covered parking with gate access, the gate whick is broke atleast onece a month and the last time that it was broke they took 2 months to get fixed. Great for all the people who started breaking into our cars !
Now they have the nerve to go up $250 on the rent, as if they have upgraded anything in the place!!!!!!!!!!!!

I lived here almost a year, haven't had any problems. If you live on the basement floor you are bound to have water come down there. Seems like they would wait until it stop raining to fix the probelm. That person doesn't think before they speak. Just move out, if its that bad. Every apartment I lived in always seems to go up for renewals, please tell me where one dosen't. Anyway please check spelling before submiting, it was hard to read. I plan on living here one more year. ( It's an apartment, get over it.)
