I have been living at Longwood since May 2008 and I love it here. People usually stay to themselves (I have yet to see my adjacent neighbors) and management is excellent. Joy is amazing as well. I stop by the leasing office frequently just to say hello and she is always welcoming and inviting.

I have had three minor issues that I needed fixed in my apartments. I submitted my maintenance problems via online and someone came to fix it within 2 to 5 hours. Very responsive!

As I previously stated, the complex is very quite and safe. As a single female living alone, safety is the single most important aspect of living in a shared community and I get that here at Longwood.

The community does not have an on site laundry facility because washers and dryers come with each apartment. The pool/Jacuzzi is nice but the gym is a joke. It is a two by four with one treadmill, one stair master, and two bikes..That is it! LA fitness is 1 minute away (literally) so it is not that bad.

Very convenient to Lenox mall (15 mins), Phipps Plaza (15 mins), Marta Station (15 mins) Wal-Mart (15 mins) 85 (7 mins) North DeKalb Mall (6 mins) and Kroger, Publics, Shell Gas Station, Dry Cleaner, Super Cuts, and blockbusters (1 minute).

The traffic gets pretty backed up on North Druid Hills Road so expected a longer commute during rush hour.


UPDATE: I transferred from this property in 11/2008. I really hated the layout of the apartment and I found another equity property for cheaper...Additionally, the break-ins were starting to get pretty bad...Longwood claimed to hire a security officer but I never seen one patrolling the property.
