Hi, I lived at Paces Park from October of 2005 until November of 2006, and I have to say this is by far the worst apartment I have ever lived in. I will start with the Pro's first.

Safety doesn't seem to be an issue, as you will see many people, mainly foreigners walking through the complex through all hours of the day and night carelessly. Parking also wasn't a problem and actually seemed to have far more parking spaces than most complexes. Now for the Con's.

There were two main problems with my stay at Paces Park. First was the bugs. I have never seen an infestation like this before. The bugs started in probably February or March and continued all the way up until we moved out. I lived with my brother here and we are both extremely clean people and never leave anything lying around that would attract bugs. Roaches were the only bugs I ever saw in the apartment and they were mainly small ones. If you ever got up during the middle of the night and turned the light on in the kitchen sometimes you wouldn't be able to count how many ran back into their holes. Exterminators came out at least twice a month and put bug granules in the drawers and sprayed often with no help.

The other main thing that got to me was the smell. There are a lot of Muslims or whatever you want to call them that live in this complex and they are constantly cooking disgusting smelling food with their doors opened. I was on the top floor so the smell leaked into my apartment. The only way to get rid of it was to open the windows or doors. Sometimes I would come home from work and the whole apartment would wreak.

From my previous statements you can tell that the insulation, windows and doors are terrible. During the winter months we had to crank the heat up so high because it would get so cold from the bad insulation, which made our electric bill outrageous.

Finally, the maintenance and staff. The maintenance is terrible, it takes at least two calls to get them out there and then another call after they come out to have it fixed again. The staff was great, but changed about two months before I moved out, so I don't know much about them.
