This is the grossest apartment I have ever lived in.
On a daily basis my roommate and I are killing 5-10 cockroaches. We refrain from cooking because we can not leave food on a cutting board for a second, for fear a cockroach will run over it. Further, just to warm up some of our takeout we must wash every dish twice because the cockroaches are always running all over it. I have seen a rat running right outside of my front door, had I not shut the door immediately, the rat would have run inside. Worst yet, I found a 1.5 inch long cockroach in my BED.
We moved in 6 months ago...every week we have complained and the leasing office has failed to take adequate action. We are paying $1155 for a disgusting two bedroom apartment.
