I loved living in the Williamsburg Community!

Imagine my surprise when my boyfriend told me he found an apartment for us in a Senior Community. I didn't know what that meant, and didn't know what to expect, but as soon as we turned onto N. Jamestown Rd., I was hooked. The apartment community has more of a feeling of a neighborhood or subdivision versus a run-of-the-mill apartment complex. The apartment we lived in was HUGE. It was obviously older, but well built. The neighbors were the nicest people we met in Atlanta, and we were far from senior citizens (20-something, urban artist-types). I walked around the neighborhood at night alone. The only thing I remember being scared of at the time was maybe running into a stray bear (the landscaping is forest-like with LOTS of mature trees). The grounds were well kept and the activity center was cute. It was truly one of the most enjoyable living experiences, second only to living in Venice Beach. An awesome place to live, senior or not!
