Love the location and atmosphere , but it is roach and ant infested

After numerous sprays(which they do attempt in expediant time) the roaches and ants will not leave. After numerous attemps of keeping the house crumb free, the cracks in the cabinets, wall, and floors allow the problem to keep occuring. I belive these are old apartments due to the lay out and this may be the problem. Work needs to be done.
