First off, we aren't home often, therefore sadly it's taken us 3 years to decide to leave this hole! They are a little less expensive than the surrounding area but that's all they have going for them-Its not worth it!!! We moved here from NC and thought the space and location was great... boy does that mean NOTHING now. The pool has been empty and dirty for 3 summers straight, and there's a washer and dryer conn. in the kitchen. These apts are very old and not well maintained. We have had 4 maybe 5 (they move so quickly) management changes in 3 years. Maintenance is slacker than i've seen in over 23 years!!! Every summer the air is broken and every winter the heater is broken(but we cant withhold money for dying in 100 degree weather). We've had the unit and furnace replaced and that didn't work. The present manager is never there instead her rude, unprofessional assistant(tries to)handles issues we bring forth. Our third year of renewing our lease we didn't sign documents until the second week of the month because paper work wasn't together. We've had a recent break in to a neighboring building. Maintenance comes in and out with no notification even though i have signed papers stating otherwise. There was mold that grew near the window of my daughters wall every time it rain.(see photo below) There are water spots in the carpet of the bedrooms and living room when heavy rain falls. We can never get emergency maintenance out after 5:30 or on the weekends when they are closed. There's a lake and woods in the back of the complex that desperately needs attention. It causes all types of insects and rodents to visit!! Finally the Big Deal Breaker....
We spent a week out of our home because a family of Rats... not cute little house mice. Rats that when a glue trap was placed on the floor in the kitchen, it walked across it for his bait and dragged the food particles back across the floor. They ate through things under the sink and would even bring back wood and grass and plant it there as if at home!!!! They were finally caught coming from the furnace space (7 feet from the kitchen and 6 feet from my daughter's bedroom) that was poorly put together to begin with. One was found dead on the floor of our pantry because the poison placed wasn't strong enough to stop him instantly. We also later found out they traveled back in forth from the guy's home above us because He found one that same week. Please, please, please people..... Do not put safety or health behind finances. They should be sued for charging what they do. Also please check out the safety icon to view the number of convicted sex offenders.
God Bless 6TrHFn6pn7poyqNlKEgn
