Things haven't changed

I see things haven't changed in foxfire over the years. Sounds like it has gotten worse. When I moved in I was fortunate enough to live in brand new building that was in the back that is why I give it a high rating. They had just finished rebuilding the building because it caught on fire and burned down before, so it was very nice. Everything was new and clean even the building. I thought that every building was like that until I recommended them to a friend who needed somewhere quickly and found out different. The other buildings reaked of a urine smell and graffitti was really bad, and the bugs were worse. She did not get to see her apartment until the day she moved in and even when she went to do her inspection there were roaches. They told her that the people who lived there before her were really nasty and the had to do alot of spraying but bugs should be gone soon. They didn't bother to sweep bugs out just left them laying there. Just unprofessional. My boyfriend car was broken into twice with an alarm. I guess they just wanted to see if the alarm really worked. My car was also attempted but lucky for me we were not sleep and had learned to kinda listen out for whispers outside so we slept with window up at night during spring and summer. We called the police and it resorted in a couple of arrests because they had actually broke into someones car in the building next to us. After that kids starting putting graffitti in the halls and actualy spray painted my door. I complained to management and they stated that they could not come and paint all the doors and halls everytime someone destroyed them because the graffitti would not stop, and that we could clean it up ourselves, or catch the person doing it and report them to the office; as if we knew the kids name. After all of this the last straw for me was when the tried tp raise my rent at renewal from $799 to $999. What the H@!! were they thinking I could have moved right around the corner in a nicer area for that amount of money. And don't forget about the high @$$ water bills. My neighbors were nice so that was a good thing, but there were teenage girls in my building who mom worked alot so the had teenage boys running through the building all the time. Foxfire is a joke and a waste of money. If you value your comfort zone and personal items don't move here.
