I am presently living here everthing you see in the blog about pest, people sitting on steps doing drugs etc is true. Wall papers in apartments were painted over and it looks horrible, carpet and apartment filthy upon move in. The only reaon I landed here is because I came from out of state and did everything by computer and over the phone but after reading these blogs if you still move in then its on you.

Home Ridge Apartments are the most horrible I have ever lived in. They should be condemned. In the 18 months that I have lived here the property has changed hands 3 times getting increasingly worse each time. The name should be changed to read: HOME ROACH APARTMENTS They will not honor any of their duties to the tenants in their property. NO repairs, no responses to complanints, no assistance from the rude office staff and constant watermain breaks. And the pass on the cost of their negligence with the water on to the tenants! MY WATER BILLS HAVE AVERAGED $150.00 A MONTH, FOR WATER!!!!Oh yes and the pests especially the roaches which infest your apartment are living rent free because their is no exterminations of any significance. IN SHORT HOME RIDGE APARTMENT SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE, WHERE IT WILL BE APPRECIATED!!!!!

It is really sad that these apartments are this bad, because they are the only ones within the Chapel Hill High school district. My son goes there, and would like to remain there. Thing is I wanted to rent an apt. for a yr or two in hopes of being able to buy a house by then. I don't want to live somewhere where the roachs take up house with us, and thugs are all over the place. Thanks for the heads up before I wasted my gas and time to go out there to look at them.
