I've been meaning to write to warn anyone that wants peace and quiet to not come here. I had lived here a while back. The staff would not do anything when I came in to complain about the noise level above me. It was so unbearable, I went to talk to management about the constant noise problem, they acted like they did not care. The other neighbors complained too, too my surprise they suggested we transfer to another apartment. Why should I move when they were the problem. To say the least, I did not stay there and don't recommend anyone that wants to come home to relax to live here.

The law actually provides that if you moved in after the noisy people, then you put yourself within nuisance. So the apartments were right to offer you another apartment. You put yourself there, should have checked more. The apartments do have to warn them that it is causing a nuisance. If they did nothing you know you have the right to call the police?

The only noise I have heard above me has been the vacuum cleaner.
