On the outside this place seems pretty nice. There is some kind of problem with mold in most people's apartments here though and noise and garbage overflowing at the dumpster.
This garbage problem is huge and I'm sure this summer it will smell really bad there. If you ask, they don't really answer why and it always take several days to fix.
I think the manager isn't very good and she seems interested in gossip and teens but not so interested in making this a nice place to live. The other staff are nice but not super helpful.
I am scared of all the problems when we move because I know they are not organized. I have lived at worse places but honestly, for the money, this place could be so much nicer!!

I absolutely agree with you. I have a noise problem and they are telling me it is normal apartment noise, which is not true. I am in the process of looking for someplace else to live and have only been here four months. YOu are right, they are more interested in the kids than the people actually paying for these apartments. They are very unorganized. Have you been able to find out who owns this complex, because i want to take it to a higher level but have been unsuccessful in finding out who to contact.

I have lived here for a few years now, And have never had a mold problem. The noise is from the cars racing thru the parking lot with their radios on so loud everyone in Douglasville can hear it.This is not the office ladies fault. The trash gets piled up because people throw furniture items in it. The dumpster is for household garbage only.I have never seen it left more than a day or two(if it's a weekend).I take my trash out everyday and I have seen it piled up if someone has been evicted. Throwing furniture in the dumpster breaks the compactor. You have to watch calling higherup, we could get someone worse.

I have been living here for 2 years and have not had any problems with mold. As for the office staff, they are always helpful in taking care of my problems and seem to have everything in order. I agree with another resident that other people dispose items in the dumpster that is not trash. I would recommend my friends and family members to live at Century Arbor Place.

I too have had a problem with mold in one apartment that I lived in. I have since moved to another apartment within the community and so far their have been no other issues with that. However the garbage is a horrible issue. I really don't feel that this is managements issue. It is ignorant people who don't read the memos that we all get on our doors. The compactor is for household items only. And please shut the door a couple of times after disposal of your trash and it will kick the compactor on to actually prevent the overflowing issue. The furniture on the outside of the compactor is rediculous. Some cheap individuals who are on the brink of eviction should take it to the county dump. But they probably cant afford that either. Now about the staff. I agree that they seem a little less organized than I would like them to be but I am not totally dissappointed with their work. I personally do not have kids but I do like what management is doing with the teens. We havent had the issues as in the past since the new management. It has taken some getting used to with the whole new management thing but I just say get to know the ladies personally in the front office and you will find that they are really nice HUMAN BEINGS and get to know your neighbors. Many of the issues can work out just by doing that.
