I was happy when I first found Millwood. It didn't take long before I was miserable though. Yes, it looks nice and quiet at first. Yes, the floorplans are spacious (although very dull but you pay for what you get). All that is true. The problem started when I moved in and my apartment was NOTHING like the model as far as cleanliness! The carpets were dark brown with PAINT dust all over the edges about a foot in length from the wall. I turned my once green vaccuum WHITE trying to clean it up...a year later it is still visible! The counter in the kitchen had a big burn hole from what looks like a pot. Various, horribly patched holes on the walls and heavily stained linoleum in the kitchen, bathrooms, and entry way. But I figured I could manage for only 610 a month (which was raised when my renewal came around to the current regular rate of 650). Then I began to notice the neighbors. It was like a ghetto on one side and semi-normal on the other. SMALL children could be heard through my windows cussing and talking crap to each other all the time. The kids fought all the time, older guys would hit on me in an aggressive manner (I'm a young single female). The pool was rarely open, but was over crowded and dirty most of the time it was open. Then there was a MURDER right across from my building in the parking lot. I was scared all the time and was rarely home. I am so glad to be moving!!

I have lived here for 2 years in a very "spacious" apartment with my two kids and have never seen any of the things in this review. When I first moved in there were a few problems but they were repaired quite speedy, you just have to ASK. As for kids, they all talk loud and say bad words..NO MATTER WHERE YOU LIVE, but here it all stops at dark due to the property curfew which is strongly enforced by management. Plus it's the cleanest apartment complex you will ever live in due to the management staff. Lastly, crime, get real and turn on the six o'clock news. I lived here during that incident and still live here cause management did not try to hide or cover up the incident. Plus the crime did not even take place ON property just brought here. The person that wrote this probably got evicted and the bad kids were her own.
