After paying Wesley Pond $35 per month for water(my water bill at my house is $50 every 3 months, go figure), they billed me $295.00 for water when I moved and asked for a refund of the deposit. I would like to hear your stories concerning move out fees to share with my lawyer. My name is Barbara (barantwha@hotmail.com). Please include your first name and either an e-mail address or phone number. I do not want this to happen to another person. They sent this in for collection in my daughters name in an attempt to ruin her credit.

So this complex charges you for water on top of what you are already paying for rent? Geesh. See I was looking into moving there, but this makes me think twice. The same thing is happening to us where we live now, which is also in Douglasville. I lived in a 2 story house, watered my yard, washed our cars, washed clothes and 5 of us took showers each day and my highest bill was like $26. Now we live in a mobile home park, do not water our yard, do not wash our cars here and it is down to 3 of us and they are charging us in upwards of $60 a month just for water. Unfortunately when places are charged as a whole whether it be an apt. complex or mobile home park I think they pick and choose who they want to charge what. I know for a fact if wsa were to come out and check for you they would see that the water usage is way down below what they are billing you for. Best of luck getting this handled, and I am sorry that you have to go through hiring an attorney to get this matter taken care of. : )

I'm a ex-employee and they are scamming you period.I'm sure they were using a hot water ratio method(because the water meters were in- stalled after the buildings were built with no meters so they used the hot water line to hook up the meter so they would not have to open the walls and hook up to incoming water lines) to rate the water bill. This company in a whole are such SCUM BAGS!!.....if you were to get the bills from the water company you will see people are paying less for more water used, They are tying to get you to cover the whole properties water bill..... Wesley Apartment Homes are a HUGE RIP OFF.......IT IS A MISTAKE TO LIVE ON ANY OF THE PROPERTIES..........

I live by myself. I have few visitors. I take one shower a day and wash my clothes and dishes once a week. When I moved in, they were charging me a flat-fee for water of $35. I thought this was a little, but hey, they make the rules. Three months later I got a letter saying that they were upping my water bill to $70 a month. SEVENTY DOLLARS! I currently live in Wesley Pond, but only for another 2 weeks. Until then, I am thinking of creative ways to use my $70's worth of water. 3-hour showers, anyone?

If anyone lives or have ever lived at the Wesley Pond Apartments or any of the other Wesley properties and received a water bill instead of your security deposit upon leaving, please e-mail me at barantwha@hotmail.com.

Hi all, Here are Waterford Place Apartments we don't pay for our actual water used. They bill us based on # of occupants, square footage & a average of the unit we live. Nothing to do with actual water used. Oh we also pay for a percentage of the landscaping (sprinklers) water. Talk about unfair. Any thoughts or ideas on the legality of what my complex is doing?

this place did the same to me, instead of recieving my refund i got a warning letter for $350. if i don't pay this it will be turned into collections. i have perfect credit. leave it wesley pond's scamming liars. they also left me without hot water for close to three weeks last december with no compensation!!! the hot water tank burst two months prior so then again being left without water. the law should definitely intervine. if you have a choice of sleeping in your car or sleeping here, choose your car. it will be safer and more the ones in charge of your bills obviously more honest than this sick crew. i did speak to one girl named kimberly who seemed as she had just started. girl, run away from that shady corporation.
