Not a resident, but things I noticed when looking around

I do not live at Wesley Pond, but I think I should warn some apartment shoppers about what I saw when I took a tour of their apartments. This is all true and unbiased.
I walk in and then was shown to their room to go over pricing and what I wanted to see that day. She left to go grab a brochure, and this older manager walked in and took the information that was given to me by the other lady. Then she had the nerve to ask my girlfriend to hand her an application that was sitting next to her, and then snatched it away. I wanted to walk out after that episode.
I was shown a 1 BR/ 1 BA that looked pretty run down and old. Appliances looked old, and nothing was updated. Then I got a look at the parking lot and grounds. While it is in a nice wooded area, there was trash lying around all over. Floors were thin, as was the walls also. Breezeway was dirty. The gate didn't seem to be working either. Maybe that was just a one day thing.
So after spending all of 3 minutes in that apartment, I went with the manager back up to the office. When she got out of her vehicle, she was on her cell phone. All I needed was my license back so I could leave, and I sat there for 10 minutes waiting for her to get off the phone. It wasn't even with a resident, or an emergency. Someone was calling about her computer getting fixed. I didn't even want to hear anymore about their deals or anything. I was not treated anywhere near as bad at all of the other apartment complexes. I got my license and thanked her for showing us around.
If they were being that rude and uncaring during an intial visit just to tour the apartments, I can't imagine how they treat their residents. They were pretty much the worst complex I saw.
Overall, the pond is nice. But everything else seems to be of low quality. This isn't usual for Wesley Apartment homes, as my girlfriend lives in Wesley Creekside and they've been wonderful. Too bad the people at Wesley Pond can't keep up.
