Gated community.......Wrong! that's only when they have specials and are trying to attract people, other than that you can count on anyone who wants to come in being able to. Management and the team in the office is horrible, I had friends who waited for two months for them to get a lease to sign and constantly have problems with them. Espically Mary who is the manager and finds something wrong with everything, the worst being just recently said that the tennants couldn't stand in the breezeways and talk to neighbors because that is not our property(and god forbid you realize that you are not the only one having problems with the management). The office is infamous for misplacing rent checks and money orders and trying to charge you up to $300 late fees. Now, about the tennants, we got lucky and actually had a good building, however the ones around us aren't so good. We have one group who have turned our parking spaces into a mechanics garage taking up 8-10 spaces. On any given night you can go to the pool at about 9 or 10pm and see a group of teenagers up there smoking weed. The worst part about these apartment is that we see the cops alot more often than we should........or we should atleast feel safe with seeing them so much. That's not the case, the woman who lived downstairs and me have both had our cars broke into.......So basically my recommendation to anyone thinking of moving in at Wesley Pond is to go to a budget suites and pay a weekly rent, although it's a little more expensive it would be well worth the money until you can find a decent apartment complex to rent from.

I totally agree with this statement. As a matter of fact I was encountered with a very familiar matter with Wesley Pond MGT. The Mgt. is a joke, the website they have is a joke, if your a comedian then move to Wesley Pond because it's a JOKE!!! The move here was great for a week then I realized that I WAS IN THE HOOD, Section 8 is NOT MY STYLE!!! When you leave you will NOT get your deposit back there is always something with a "water bill" or a "sweage bill" it never fails!!! but don't take my opinion just keep reading and you'll see! ---- WESLEY POND!

well put! this place is a joke!!!!!! where can i start? my water heater leaked onto my downstairs neighbor several months ago. after i got home from work it looked as though my place had been broken into (no note was left to state that a repair had been made) soon after that i get "unexplainable" random notes on my door with "you owe, this, this or this every month". they never know what they are for!!!! maybe some pocket cash perhaps? roaches galore-unbelievably disgusting!!! oh, i even paid a rent check while vacationing in seattle. vacation. some relaxing vacation only to have a note on my door for my mother to see while she was watering my plants which stated that i hadn't paid my rent. i was on the phone with management daily on my vacation trying to help them find my rent that had been paid days in advance... went to the leasing office after i got back from the airport with a friendly visit and a new rent check which they nicely said they would accept only for lori to go to the drop box and say "oh here is your check, it's stuck in the mailbox". thanks for the stressful vacation and pure lazyness. now i am writing because i am on my fifth day this week of making other living arrangements because of lack of hot water most of the days. now i have none. hotel visits can be expensive wesley pond management!!! and what about the lack of apology?? andrea did say she would be mad too on one phone call. i'm sorry? what can i do to help? what happened to customer service, explanations for bills and just coming through with what you promise. oh yes, and the gate is a joke. and the tacky signs they put in the front stating that the rent is due by the third every month. i mean, who on earth doesn't remember to pay their rent by the first? this place is the douglasville ghetto hood. don't move there, unless you just enjoy living out of your car and at other people's places like a gypsy. in plain english-it sucks.
