The gated community is a JOKE. I've lived here a year and the gate has worked MAYBE at total of 2 weeks, total!
The "pond" is so poorly kept that it's a surprise the ducks haven't all died. There is always trash floating or settled by the shore.
If you have a maintenance problem, be prepared to wait up to FOUR days for them to come fix it, as they are allowed in the lease that you sign.
My air-conditioning has broken 4 times, and each time it was like pulling teeth to get anybody to come out. The desk girl keeps "forgetting" to call back, and the work order either never goes in or gets ignored until you ride them on it, and it may be days later before they fix it.
It was nearly 90 degrees in my apt. over one weekend and, after being given the run around for FIVE hours, I was told that the maintenance man wasn't going to even look at my broken AC or provide a window-unit for us, even though he was already there fixing a water heater in another bldg! That it was HIS decision to wait on it til Monday, even though I was burning up and couldn't sleep and he was already on site!
They are allowing ghetto-acting people and frat boys in to party and throw trash everywhere all the time, and just looking the other way. There are teenagers smoking pot and walking their pitbulls at the playground, and I don't feel safe just walking around here. I have heard about break-ins and property damage a lot.
When I renewed my lease, my rent went UP, even though I always pay on time or early, and am a model tenant. The ghetto family looking at apts while I was signing my renewal were quoted a price LOWER than my current rent!!

They don't care about keeping the apt nice and who they rent to. They don't care about residents who pay all their bills on time, are quiet, respectful, and clean. ALL they care about is your MONEY.
