Good place to live but Utilities

Me and my wife have lived in hte apt complex for 2 years. Its a really nice apts but kind of high on the utility costs. The utilities are managed by one co. which charges $10 extra, so including water,sewer and electricity the tota bill was $150 when we lived in a 1 bedroom before and now in a 2 bedroom its $250 which is much much more than even the utilities for a house.
