The apartments are very nice in general if all issues are brought up immediately upon move-in. No adequate parking. Maintenance crew is lazy and ill-qualified. Police have been called on complaints on one of the maintenance people living on premises on several occasions. Management claims to have a courtesy officer that you never see and does not respond to calls. She refers tenants to local police and has even commmented to me in the one conversation I did have with her that management doesn?t follow-up on her recommendations or reports when she does act. Have had problems with tenants living here and operating illegal practices with the police being called for major violations reported on the news.
The property manager is condescending, albeit pleasant about it. The leasing agents are either inept or rude, although part-time help is congenial on the weekends. Everything is fixed with a bande-aide approach and as cheaply as possible. Forget quality! Rents are raised unfairly and with inequality, but most residents don?t realize it if they don?t talk to their neighbors (knowledge is power). You can be accused of things without investigation and sent letters just to pacify the one complaining. Kids play in the parking lots, and because of the inadequate parking around some buildings some cars have been hit by other tenants (I spoke to an insurance rep who used to live here and reported this).
It is a convenient community to live in and the apartments are spacious. Most have a formidable patio/balcony. Rules are not consistent, however, and sometimes leaves one to believe they are made up as the management office goes along. For those that move here temporarily waiting for a house to be built or other temporary reasons, it's up to you and what your expectations are. But, if you are looking for a permanent place to call home, look elsewhere; or, be prepared to fend for yourself. If you are not an informed consumer or like to be, I wouldn?t recommend living here.
