Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at Bridgewater and would recommend others to stay there. Yes, Brian Nichols did chose to come here to take his hostage however crime is NOT a problem, even with the community not having a gate. As a single female, I felt very safe in my surroundings and that was important to me.
The reviews about the children are true. This is a great place for families because of the community activities, playgorunds and your children will have someone to play with however for others this can be a headache trying to avoid hitting children playing in the streets.
The reviews regarding management have some truth to them as well. Of course, this all depends on perspective however you can hardly reach anyone at the office and I have encountered friendlier staff before. You get a recording and they ask you to leave a message and can take days to get back with you. They have had an high employee turnover since I have been living here and the only person I can recommend for assistance would be Andrea...she is very professional and helpful.
Maintenance has always complied with my request in a timley manner however ONLY to the best of their ability. (what can be expected, though') I continue to have slow drains even though they say they have fixed them. I have learned to live with it...
The apartments are overpriced considering the amnenities are older and sound travels very well through the walls. Even in taking these things into consideration, I wouldn't say they are bad apartments.
