I moved into Bridgewater before reading any of the comments here or really looking into the area. Overall, everything has been OK I'd say. I choose to buy a house and probably wouldn't renew here, but think it has more to do with the entire area (rather than the actual apt.) from Satelitte Blvd. over to Pleasant Hill/ Gwinnett Place mall. The Mexican drug trade has taken over. I guess I have been fortunate that my apt and truck haven't been broke into. I just don't really feel safe here, but I don't think I would at any apt in the area.

As for our individual apt., the space is good- big closets, large bathrooms. We did get a new dishwasher when ours broke (took about 3 or 4 days). But the maintenance was spotty for sure. We didn't even bother to go to the pool (usually full of about 100 little black kids in the summer) or the gym or anything else. Noise was about avg- nothing more or less than my last apt. We lived near the West Lidell entrance and it seems a little quiter than on the other side near the office.

We paid all our bills on time, and mgmt. was nice to us and fairly accomodating when we told them we were moving out.

Overall, you get what you pay for. I could of spent $200 more a month in Duluth 30097 and have $2400 less right now after a year with nothing to show for it. I choose to recommend Bridgewater just because the actual apt. we were living in was fine, but I wish they would do more to step up safety- like actually close the new gates or maybe even have a security guard at the entrances. They should also look into conducting criminal background checks on perspective tennants.

Ok i totally understand some of the concerns that you have about these apartments because I have been a resident since 6/2007 and believe me it has not been easy....but the comment about the pool having a 100 little black kids is just plain racist...I happen to have 4 beautiful black angels and I do not allow them to run around the neighborhood and cause trouble...last time I took my kids to the pool there were quite a few ------, --------- and whites there so you might need to check yourself.

I Read your post and you were spot on. but you were lucky to live on the west lidell side because its a little quieter and cleaner than the other side(by the clubhouse) that i lived on, IT WAS HORRIBLE! i had to deal with unruly neighbors, bugs, and some idiot teenager ATTEMPTED to steal my rims(but didn't know what he was doin lol.) all in all i wish i hadn't have been so cheap and moved across the street to menlo creek(my friend lives over there and he has no complaints).

Wow, these comments are really scary to me. I just inquired about these apartments and was planning on moving in there. I am moving from a quiet subdivision in Lawrenceville and thought that these apartments would be an afforfable alternative. I understand diversity, and I do not like living around one race over another. But I am an --------American single parent, whose husband (and daughters father) passed away, not in jail JungleJimmy. I do not like or wish to live in or around the Ghetto and by Ghetto I mean bug infested, loud neighbors and unruly children, no matter what race they are. So I guess I will pass on this apartment complex. Oh and JungleJimmy you really need a reality check and I am so sorry that your hatred of ------ is so strong, I hope that you will oneday change your mind.

Wow that was totally disrespectful junglejimmy....i do have 4 beautiful angels that I have raised to be very well mannered and I dont appreciate you disrespecting my children...this blog is not even supposed to be about race its supposed to be about the things that we are concerned about in our neighborhood caused by ALL people not just people of color...so in response to your ignorance you might need to take yourself back to the Jungle little Jimmy cause you need some serious help.
