Don't move in here.

One thing to note about this complex is that everything you read in the lease is complete bull. You have to sign a notice that cars are not to be worked on in the parking lot, disabled vehicles will be towed, and there is no parking of boats. I can't park remotely close to my apartment because of all the disabled vehicles and people working on cars, and the staff maintenance man takes up three spots with his boat. Speaking of which, despite the fact that the maintenance man lives two doors down from me, has a boat and 2 extremely nice cars, he has never, not once, fixed anything. My apartment had a roof leak, with they didn't fix, that turned into a mold problem that they kept spraying but didn't repair until we brought a lawyer in. And yes, this place is a ghetto. Gangs of teens and young adults just milling around in the street. The drug dealers are very visible despite 4 police officers residing in the complex. My one attempt to get them to stop hanging around my place resulted in my car getting trashed. The office staff's only purpose in talking to you is in getting you out of the office so they can go back to being blissfully unaware of the dungheap they work at.
